Our Story
De Stoffenier is founded in 2007 and from 2011 the workshop/store is opened at the Hooglandsekerk Choorsteeg in Leiden. For us a special place, because for over a hundred years now this premise is used for upholstery.
Jolanda has a 4-year fulltime study degree in upholstery, with a specilization in classical upholstery (restauration). In addition she followed several in depth courses for woodworking.
In 2011 Jolanda has won the national award 'Professional of the Year', that moment the first woman ever to win this award.
SO WHAT IS OUR PROMISE
Furniture can be refurbished in many ways, from good to facile. We strive to do good and take great care in the quality of the innerworks, covering and finishing. Your sofa or chair should have an excellent fitting, great seat and be durable for many years.
We do not patch up things, but like to deliver a 'new like' furniture piece.
